Disclaimer
Not legal advice.
The Operators Edge provides operational and business consulting services to the staffing industry. We are not a law firm, and no attorney-client relationship is formed by using this website or engaging our services. Information we provide is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney regarding your specific situation. For legal questions, consult a qualified employment or business attorney licensed in your state.
Insurance.
The Operators Edge is not a licensed insurance broker, agent, or producer. We do not sell, solicit, negotiate, quote, or place insurance, and we do not recommend specific insurance products. We provide introductions to licensed insurance providers. Any insurance products are offered, quoted, and serviced solely by the licensed provider you choose to work with. Your decision to purchase any insurance product is made directly with that licensed provider.
Provider introductions.
Where we introduce you to payroll funding companies, professional employer organizations (PEOs), insurance providers, or other third parties, those providers are independent businesses. We do not control their services, pricing, terms, or outcomes. We may receive compensation from a provider for an introduction. Any such arrangement does not change your right to choose any provider you wish, and you are under no obligation to use any provider we introduce.
No guarantees.
Consulting recommendations are intended to help reduce risk and improve operations. We do not guarantee any particular legal, financial, or compliance outcome.
Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 17, 2026·Last updated: June 17, 2026
The Operators Edge ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the-operators-edge.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting information to us, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide. When you complete our contact or consultation form, request an introduction, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to give us, which may include your name, company name, email address, phone number, the nature of your request, and any details you include in your message. When you book a consultation through our scheduling tool, we and that tool collect the details you provide to schedule, such as your name, email, and chosen time. If you engage us for services, we may also collect business information you share in the course of that engagement.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information when you visit the Site, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visits. This may be collected through cookies or similar technologies (see Section 5).
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your inquiries and provide the consulting services or introductions you request;
- communicate with you about your request, an engagement, or our services;
- make introductions to third-party providers when you ask us to;
- operate, maintain, and improve the Site; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How we share your information
We share personal information only as described here:
Providers you ask to be introduced to. When you request an introduction to a funding, insurance, professional employer organization (PEO), or other third-party provider, we share the contact and business information needed to make that introduction with the provider you choose. Those providers are independent businesses that handle your information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Service providers. We use third parties to help operate our business, such as website hosting, email, scheduling, and form or customer-management tools. They may process your information on our behalf and are expected to protect it.
Legal and protective uses. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
4. How we protect and retain your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with legal obligations, after which we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
5. Cookies, analytics, and Do Not Track
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies and uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, and may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. You can review how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and opt out using Google's browser add-on. You can also set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when they are sent, though some parts of the Site may not function properly if you do. We also use a third-party scheduling tool so you can book consultations; when you do, that tool collects the information you provide to schedule your call.
Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common industry standard for responding to DNT signals, and our Site does not currently respond to them.
6. Your choices and California privacy rights
You may:
- Update or correct the information you have given us by emailing us at the address below.
- Request access to or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and recordkeeping limits.
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by contacting us.
California residents may have additional rights under California law to know what personal information we collect and how we use it. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these choices, contact us using the information in Section 9. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
7. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Any consulting engagement is governed by a separate written agreement between you and us. These Terms govern only your use of the Site and do not by themselves create any engagement or obligation to provide services.
3. Third-party providers and introductions
When we introduce you to a third-party provider, that provider is an independent business. We do not control and are not responsible for their services, advice, pricing, terms, products, or conduct, and your relationship with any provider is solely between you and that provider. 7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Operators Edge and its owners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the Site, the content, or any introduction made through the Site. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Operators Edge and its owners from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any third-party provider introduced through the Site.
10. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We provide these for convenience and do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any linked site.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
